Louise Dickinson-Aldrich, born December 1927, sadly left this world on December 20, 2020, and the world is now a little less bright.

She leaves behind a legacy of friendship, communal spirit, and love. She also leaves behind four children, eight grandchildren

and 21 great-grandchildren, who will miss her dearly. They were all touched by her grace, honesty, and her warm heart.

Louise has joined her mother, father, husband, brothers, sister and infant child, Robin, in the afterlife, where she rejoices in the reunion and patiently awaits her surviving children's arrival.

Louise "Dickie" Aldrich started life in beautiful Opelika, Alabama, the daughter of Henry Kline Dickinson and Bernice Esther Lowe. Raised in an era of slower times, she described her youth as, "the idyllic, perfect childhood."

She grew to become a beautiful young woman, a college graduate, and a teacher of English to hundreds of youthful minds. She met her husband, Robert Gene Aldrich and quickly fell in love. They were joined in marriage on December 21st, 1952. Soon thereafter she began a new, "military" lifestyle, as Robert was a Navy pilot to-be at the time. Traveling the world to different Naval bases provided her with many new experiences, of cultures, lands, and peoples, that are rarely available to most people.

First and foremost, Louise was a dedicated mother. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She had a vivacious personality, endless kindness, and always made people around her laugh. Her smile was infectious; anyone who has

ever met her will always remember her for that.

With the joys of remembrance, please think kindly of her when you reflect on her life, and the impact she had on yours. She would want you to miss her, but also, to let her go.
