According to a published GLASSCOCK family history, Patty DICKERSON c1785? married c1800-1805 George GLASSCOCK b. c1784 Moore Co, N.C. George was the son of Dr. George GLASSCOCK who was murdered 1787 at Cross Hill, near Carthage. A Jeremiah DICKISON is enumerated same number as George GLASSCOCK in Moore Co. on 1810 N.C. State Census Index. George is in Campbell Co, Tennessee, by 1830, and on the 1850 census there: George GLASSCOCK 65, N.C., apparent wife (2nd?) Susan 62, S. C., with a John DIXON 17 N.C., and George W. DIXON 16 TN, in his household; possible grandsons / step-grandsons / nephews, etc.? I hope to find the ancestry of John and George W. DICKERSON (DIXON, DICKISON, DICKINSON). There also seems to be some probability of a GLASSCOCK - DICKERSON - DOUGLAS connection in Campbell Co, Tennessee. These three families are also found in early Moore Co, North Carolina. Any help or suggestions for researching these families in Moore County would be great appreciated, and I will share any information that might be helpful to other researchers of the GLASSCOCK family.
