Will of Rebeckah Dickinson mentions sons: John and Isaac Dickinson (Executors), David; daughters: Sarah Daniel, Elizabeth Futurell, Rebeccah Newsom, Charity Dickinson, Mary Dickinson. Witnesses: Isaac Parker, John Horton. Clerk of the Court: I. Edwards. Will proved February 1753.375

In the Name of God Amen the first Day of July in the year of our Lord God 1750. I REBECAH DICKINSON of Northampton County In North Carolina being in health of body and of perfect mind and Memory thanks be Given to God therefore and Calling unto mind the Mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to Dye do make and Ordain this my Last will and testament that is to Say Principally and first of all I Recomend my Soul into the hands of God that gave it and for my body I recomend it to the Earth to be buryed in a Christian Like and Decent Manner at the Discretion of my Executors Nothing Doubting but at the Generall Resurrection I Shall Receive the Same Again by the Mighty power of God and as touching Such worldly Estate wherewith it hath Pleased God to bless me in this Life I Give Devise and Dispose of the Same in the following Manner and form.

Item I Give and bequeath unto my Daughter SARAH DANIEL two Cows and Calves.

Item I Give and bequeath unto my Daughter ELIZABETH FUTURELL five Shillings Current Money of Virginia.

Item I Give and Bequeath to my Daughter REBECAH NEWSOM two Cows and Calves.

Item I Give and bequeath to my Son JOHN DICKINSON Six pounds Current money of Virginia and feather bed and furniture.

Item I Give and bequeath to my Daughter CHARITY DICKINSON three Sheep.

Item I Give and bequeath to my Son DANIEL DICKINSON three Sheep.

Item I Give and bequeath to my Son DAVID DICKINSON three Sheep.

Item I Give and bequeath to my Daughter MARY DICKINSON three Sheep.

Item I Give and bequeath to my Son ISAAC DICKINSON four Negros toney, frank and Sarry and Ross and that tract of Land bounding upon JOSIAH BROWNs Land and MOOR CARTERs Land and the Land whereon I now Live and one Strong wayter

Still and all the Rest of my Estate Except one Mare and of this my Last will and testament I make and Constitute nominate and Appoint my two Sons JOHN DICKINSON and ISAAC DICKINSON my whole and Sole Executors Revoaking and Anuling of all former wills by me heartofore made Ratified and Confirmed this and no other to be my Last will and testament.
