Ann Rogers Hudson was the wife of John Hudson. She may have been the daughter of John Rogers and Frances Watson Rogers of Plymouth, MA. Ann and John Hudson lived in Duxbury, Plymouth, MA. Some sources indicate that after her husband's death, Ann resided in Marshfield, Plymouth, MA until her death at about age 78. In the year 1708 the "Widow Hudson" is mentioned in Duxbury town records regarding a division of lands between her and several other persons, which may have involved disposal of lands from her husband's estate.
Will of John Rogers dated 1 Feb 1661, probated 5 June 1661 mentions wife Frances; sons John Rogers Jr.; Joseph Rogers; Timothy Rogers; dau's Ann Hudson; Mary Rogers and Abigail Rogers;
gr.ch George Russell and John Russell.
John Rogers is buried in the Wanton-Rogers Burying Ground according to "John Rogers of Marshfield and some of his descendants" pages 5-7.
Apparently there was another John Rogers in Scituate, about the same age, who married an Ann Churchman, but according to "John Rogers of Marshfield and some of his descendants" this is an entirely different family. This family was somehow related to the pilgrim Thomas Rogers.
