In SEP 1726, Anthony SEALE “the younger” and “heir at large” of William SEALE sold to Thomas Turner the 200 acres on Chingateague Swamp which belonged to William SEALE, who had left the area about 7 years before, leaving “no lawful heirs of his body.” James Markham, son of Elizabeth Markham SEALE, was his bondsman. That was the land which William SEALE had bought from Samuel Wharton in 1713.181
