This is the Stowe family cemetary, my great great grandparents Abraham R. Stowe and Sallie Poindexter Stowe, their children and my g-g uncle Joel C. Stowe and his family are the only ones buried there. Joel ran the ferry there and the first and only post office in the area. My great great grandfather owned most to the land up and down the river then towards Alex City/state hwy 63 from over the ferry site then down below a community called Ourtown.124
