The marriage of Walter Pitts to Ann Williams is incorrect as proven by family records, her father's will and her handling of the estate of her husband, Hardy Pitts s/o Walter and his 1st wife, name unk but prob. a Hardy. All but the last three of his children were hers and Lewis was one of those. Walter and Martha had three childre, two of them sons. The 1st was John J. Pitts, my line. Patience was the middle one, a daughter and there is a question as to whether she md. or not. The youngest, Noel, was born about the time Walter died. Noel md. his cousin, another Martha Williams and niece of his mother. The Pitts and Williams families were well researched by my cousins in AL and I'm willing to send you anything you would like on the family.
